Verse to Ponder

Verse to Ponder 11/3/25

Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing shall be impossible."

I am going to take one verse from each Chapter of the Book of Luke to ponder upon. Ponder means to "weigh in the mind; to consider and compare the circumstances or consequences of an event"

In Chapter 1 we find the angel Gabriel appearing to Zacharias to tell him "for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John" Zacharias reply was "Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years." Gabriel's reply was "And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season." We know this child that was born as John the Baptist, " And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." He was the forerunner of Christ. Zacharias doubted his own prayer because he thought that it would not happen. God had a plan for this prayer Zacharias prayed. Tomorrow will be part two of this verse to ponder on. The appearing of Gabriel to Mary. God Bless each one of you today my Friends and remember with God nothing shall be impossible.
