Luke 2:10

"And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people."

The word tidings means the giving of news, information, an account of what has taken place. In Chapter 2 of Luke, we have an account of the birth of Jesus in a stable in Bethlehem. They were shepherds keeping watch over their flock by night when the angel appeared unto them with the news of Jesus birth. They went into Bethlehem to see this thing which is come to pass. They found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger. What was told to them was true. What great joy had come to the earth for all mankind. What did the shepherds do next, they began to share the good news to others. "And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child." This good tidings of great joy is still the greatest story that can be told and shared with others. " For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." We don't have to wait until Christmas to let this be known, we can share our testimony of what Jesus has done for each one of us to those who may not know Him as their Saviour. God Bless you today my Friends and remember you may be the one that the Lord will use to share these tidings of great joy to someone who is needing to see and hear about this babe that was born in a stable because their was no room for Him in the inn.
