Encouraging Word for Today 6/12/25

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

17. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

I thank the Lord for the life and the family that He has given me. Being saved and living a Christian life is the best thing that anyone can have on this earth. Sharing your faith in Christ with family, friends, and even strangers is a blessing even in times of afflictions. Psalm 34:19 says, "Many are the afflictions of the righteousness: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all." We know that the things we have here are only temporary and they will pass away. But thank God there is a day coming when all the saved shall be gathered together in an eternal place where there will be no more tears, no more death, no sorrow or crying, no more pain. Jesus said in John 14:2-3, "In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also." This is eternal. Have a blessed Thursday my Friends.
