Encouraging Word for Today 6/17/25

Philippians 4:8

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."

The enemy, (the devil) would like to bring our mind to think about evil imaginations, evil thoughts, or carnal thoughts of the things of the world to tempt us to sin or to try and keep us from having the peace that the Lord Jesus has given to those who believes in Him. Isaiah says in chapter 26:3, "Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." When things try to come to our mind that is not of God, meditate upon these things from "Philippians 4:8" because the things of God are mightier and greater than the things of the world.
