Verse to Ponder 11/10/25

Luke 4:14

"And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about."

In Luke Chapter 4 verses 1 through 13, Jesus had been in the wilderness forty days being tempted by the devil. Each time the devil would tempt our Lord Jesus, the Son of God would always have an answer. Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit and the fame of him went out. Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 28 verse 18 that "All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." The Lord will give us the power and the strength to overcome the enemy when he attacks us with many different devices. (And they are many different ways that the devil does this) Remember my Friends that the Bible also tells us in 2 Timothy 1 verse 7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." Ponder on this today as we start our week and help spread the fame of Jesus to someone else. Have a Blessed Monday.
