Verse to Ponder 12/1/25

Luke 9:17

"And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets."

Jesus and his apostles went into a desert place privately. When the people knew of it, they also came to the place. Jesus spake unto them the kingdom of God and healed those that needed healing. (When we come into the presence of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, He is able to meet our many needs no matter what the circumstance is.) The day was coming to an end and the twelve said unto Jesus send the multitude away. Jesus said, "Give ye them to eat." The only food available were five loaves and two fishes. Remember, there was about five thousand there to be fed. Jesus took the small amount and blessed it and after they all had eaten, there remained twelve baskets full. The Lord is able to provide more than enough and even have plenty left over. Ponder on this the next time you go to Church.
